Stars Are Falling Down came out on 20 April 2023, made with ATLVNTA and Kobzaruk and put together through Music Export Ukraine. Brunettes Shoot Blondes have been going since 2010, out of Kryvyi Rih, and are better known abroad than most Ukrainian indie bands — which is exactly the reach this song was written to use.
The band were direct about the purpose: draw the attention of listeners in other countries, and remind them the Russian invasion is still going. That is a different job from writing for people already inside it — and it is the same job BLIND8 set themselves.
Stars Are Falling Down вийшла 20 квітня 2023 року — зроблена разом з ATLVNTA і Kobzaruk за посередництва Music Export Ukraine. Brunettes Shoot Blondes існують із 2010 року, походять із Кривого Рогу й відоміші за кордоном, ніж більшість українських інді-гуртів, — саме цей доступ пісня й мала використати.
Гурт казав про мету прямо: привернути увагу слухачів в інших країнах і нагадати, що російське вторгнення триває. Це інша робота, ніж писати для тих, хто вже всередині нього, — і та сама, яку поставили собі BLIND8.
